Taking of the Reichstag

This picture was taken by Tevgeni Khaldei, on April 30 of 1945.

This picture shows two soldiers hosting the soviet flag over the Reichstag. The Reichstag is the German parliament building located in the city of Berlin. The picture was taken after the taking of the building, and is the symbol of the Soviet victory against the Nazism. This is important, because usually the roll of the Soviet Union is forgotten by Occident. The Great Patriotic War is like the Soviet called that war, millions of man and woman died on this and is celebrate until today in the old countries of the Union.

I like this picture because represent the sacrifice of the Soviet people during the War, as a less prepared army could defeat another with the strength of them bravery and conviction. I don’t like Stalin or the terrible way wish take the Soviet Union later, but is important to remember this part of their history.

Pad Thai

Is difficult to me choose only one favorite dish. I love almost all food, except the sour-sweet dishes.  But, how I must to write about a single dish, I choose Pad Thai.

The Pad Thai is made by a base of rice noodles, chicken, tofu, eggs, coconut milk, chives and other ingredients; mixed with different spices. This dish come from Thailand, is a very typical food in this country and now is also very popular in other places.

I ate Pad Thai by first time at a restaurant called KY. KY is a Thai restaurant where they offer different dishes from this country, they also offer excellent drinks and cocktails.

Now, I eat Pad Thai at a small restaurant in Providencia, here the price are lower but without worse food.

I love Pad Thai because I love all its ingredients and its mixed flavors.

Hi everyone, today I will tell you about El Abrazo.

El Abrazo was a music festival with Chilean and Argentinian artists. This festival was on December of 2010, in Parque O' Higgins. Many famous musicians and bands played on it; Charly García, Vicentico, Jorge González, Los Tres, among others.

I went to El Abrazo with many friends. It was a very good spectacle where we spent a nice moment. I enjoyed to listen in a single show, many of my favorite songs.

I like the massive concert, and El Abrazo was one of that.

I remember that Charly had problems with the sounds, he come angry but finally he played the piano and singed even with this.

Hi everyone! My name is Amaro.

I was born in Santiago, 21 years ago, on May of 1990.
I live in Ñuñoa with my girlfriend Amaya and my sister Jael; both of them psychology student. My dog, Dylan, is the fourth member of our young family. I had live in many houses, 7 different places, but all of them in the same city, Santiago.

I studied only in one single school, Alba, since I was 5 years old to 17 years old. Now I'm in fifth year of Sociology at the University of Chile.

I don't have many hobbies, in general I love to play card, play with my dog and have family dinners with my mom and dad. I also love good beer and barbecues.
